Former President Donald Trump told Fox News on Wednesday he was unsure if he wanted a rematch the morning after his less than stellar debate performance against Vice President Kamala Harris.

“I would be less inclined because we had a great night. We won the debate. We had a terrible, terrible network,” Trump said.

But although Trump said he was unsure if he wanted another debate, his adviser Jason Miller told CNN that the former president would participate in the NBC debate on September 25.

The Harris team wants another debate with Trump, but there are no confirmed dates yet. If Trump agrees, it would be in addition to the debate between Senator JD Vance and Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, hosted by CBS in New York City on October 1.

Trump says he won the ‘rigged’ debate, a Fox News opinion columnist claims otherwise

Trump told Fox News on Wednesday morning that he believed he won Tuesday’s debate against Harris, claiming the debate was “rigged” and arguing that ABC News moderators fact-checking the former president in real time were proof of that.

“I think I did a great job; it was three against one. I think I did a great job,” Trump said.

ABC News anchors David Muir and Lindsay Davis examined Trump’s baseless claims about the 2020 election, immigrants and abortion from the stage during Tuesday’s debate.

“It’s pretty clear to me that Vice President Kamala Harris won what may be the only debate between her and former President Trump on Tuesday night,” wrote Fox News columnist Doug Schoen.

Wall Street futures fell on Wednesday as investors increased their odds of Harris winning the U.S. presidential election after the first presidential debate.Reuters contributed to reporting on this article.
