Have you ever imagined having a drink with Jason Momoa?

Well, this fantasy could actually become a reality very soon.

You know Momoa. He is the actor who recently played Aquaman in two films and also portrayed Khal Drogo in the epic series Game of Thrones.

Coincidentally, Momoa will soon be in Boston to promote his vodka brand and play with his band. He will also reportedly be hitting up a few venues in the city today, Monday, September 9.

What is Jason Momoa doing in Boston?

The actor, who will soon be seen alongside Jennifer Coolidge in the new Minecraft movie, is promoting his vodka brand Meili. As part of the promotion, he and his business partner Blaine Halvorson have planned several stops in the Boston area, including:

  • A stop at Nebo Restaurant, 520 Atlantic Avenue in Boston, on Monday
  • A stop on Monday at the Prudential Center at View Boston, according to their website
  • The Nautilus, 300 Pier 4 Blvd., Boston, for their Meili Vodka launch party on Monday, according to the restaurant’s Instagram
  • Next, he’s heading to the rooftop at The Envoy on Monday night (it’s a busy night), according to her Instagram, for a party in honor of Meili
  • Afterwards, there was a sold-out launch party at ReelHouse in Boston, according to the Eventbrite website.
  • He’ll be back in action on Tuesday with an appearance from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Danvers Market Basket, where he’ll be signing bottles and taking selfies, according to Boston.com.
  • Finally, he will give a concert on Tuesday at 7 p.m. at the Memoire Nightclub in the Encore Boston Harbor, 1 Broadway, Everett

What you should know about Jason Momoa’s band

Momoa will perform with his band “Oof Tatata,” which plays hip hop music as well as cover songs by bands such as Led Zeppelin, Stevie Nicks, The Stooges and Jimi Hendrix.

Momoa is the band’s bassist, along with guitarist/vocalist Mike Hayes and drummer Kenny Dale. The event will take place on September 10th from 7:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at Memoire Nightclub at Encore Boston Harbor.

How much do tickets cost for the event at Encore?

Tickets are $20 and can be purchased through Ticketmaster. VIP tickets are $100 each.
