North Texas SC wins 2-0 at home against Sporting KC II

Arlington, Texas (August 10, 2024) – North Texas SC (11-3-6, 43 points) defeated Sporting KC II (7-9-5, 28 points) 2-0 on Saturday night at Choctaw Stadium. Anthony Ramirez and Pedrinho scored for North Texas SC, helping NTSC’s home winning streak increase to 6-0-4.

TWO FOR TONY
Anthony Ramirez scored his second goal of the season in the sixth minute of play to give North Texas SC an early 1-0 lead. His goal was the second earliest goal scored by NTSC this season. With today’s goal, Ramirez reached his career-high of two goals in the 2023 MLS NEXT Pro season.

MAGIC PEDRINHO
Midfielder Pedrinho scored North Texas’ second goal of the night on an assist from Herbert Endeley. Pedrinho scored his sixth goal of the season in his first year with North Texas. He last started on June 22 against Austin FC II.

RIGHT TIME, RIGHT MOMENT
Defender Herbert Endeley provided both assists for both goals tonight. This means he has a total of four assists this season, making him the second best player on the team.

THERE IS NO WAY TO COLLODI
Goalkeeper Michael Collodi recorded his third clean sheet of the season in today’s 2-0 win, saving one ball tonight, taking his total to 46 this season.
