A selection of Leicester’s best restaurants are in the running for the title of Best Restaurant at this year’s British Restaurant Awards. The nominees include 10 establishments across the city that showcase the city’s diverse culinary scene.
The nominees, announced today (Wednesday 7 August), showcase eateries from around the world. Shortlisted restaurants include Aarti Sweet Centre, Eastern Spice, Poacher’s Brasserie, The Globe – Pub & Kitchen and many more.

Wagamama, Nando’s and Zizzi, which have branches in Leicestershire, are nominated in the Best Restaurant Chain category. The British Restaurant Awards, now in their sixth year, recognise excellence in the culinary field by inviting the public to nominate and vote for their favourite restaurants.

This year’s awards ceremony will take place on Wednesday 28 August 2024. The event will include categories such as Best New Restaurant, Best Chef and Restaurant of the Year. Voting is open on the British Restaurant Awards website until 26 August 2024.
