42 guns stolen from Lancaster gun shop; officials offer ,000 reward

After 42 guns were stolen from a Lancaster gun store, state authorities are offering a reward to anyone who can provide information leading to the capture of the burglars.

The break-ins occurred on June 30 and July 29 at Jones Firearms, 2200 Columbia Ave., according to a press release from the Philadelphia Field Division (ATF) of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.

In both cases, two masked suspects were involved. In the second burglary, the perpetrators may have used a maroon or purple Honda Accord from the mid-2000s and a black sedan with a sunroof.

AFT is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the shoplifters, and the National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF) is matching the amount, making the total reward $10,000.
