Mishra, who rose to prominence earlier this season for winning Heidi Klum’s Golden Buzzer, proved once again why she is a standout contender with her recent stunning performance on September 3.

Mishra performed the emotionally charged ballad with a grace and maturity unusual for her age and received rave reviews from the jury. “You had neither a drummer nor a bass to hide behind. Just you and the piano,” Heidi Klum told her. “You did that so incredibly well. Congratulations.”

Simon Cowell was also overwhelmed by Mishra’s talent and said: “You really sounded incredible. Your potential is really exciting.”

Howie Mandel added: “You are 10 years old, but you have the talent of someone who has been performing for decades.”

The young singer’s journey has been remarkable. Mishra has sung the American national anthem at major sporting events, including the NBA Miami Heat vs. Utah Jazz game and the NCAA men’s basketball tournament.

Her AGT Her performance, however, entered new territory when she took on a Miley Cyrus anthem, which was no easy task.

The judges were impressed with her performance, with Sofia Vergara calling it “breathtaking” and saying, “You deserve everyone to vote for you tonight.” Mandel praised her, saying, “You could win the whole thing.”

Mishra replied modestly, “I feel so blessed to be able to sing on the biggest stage in the world in front of this wonderful audience.”

“Wrecking Ball,” originally performed by Miley Cyrus, became a pop culture sensation when it topped the Billboard Hot 100 for three weeks in 2013 and garnered over a billion views on YouTube.
